Day 1 - Weight Loss Challenge to Myself

I decided to blog about my weight loss journey...maybe this will keep me on track and encourage others.

Day 1

I am not going to post my beginning weight, but each day hereafter I will post any loss.

Breakfast: Bowl of fresh fruit consisting of pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, raspberries, bananas; 1 boiled egg, coffee with fat free creamer.

Lunch: Salad of lettuce, carrots, purple cabbage, sunflower seeds, chicken breast, olive oil and red wine vinegar

Snack: Smaller portion of same salad as lunch

Dinner: (this is where I messed up....I didn't get to cook, I had to go pick up food for my grandparents and they wanted us to eat with them...and it was Italian). Spaghetti, small piece of cheese pizza, 1/3 piece of garlic toast, 3 pieces of V-Day candy. (I know....soooo bad. I was also upset and am an emotional eater. I tried to take it easy and not over eat. However, as I am writing this on the morning of Day 2, I will say I am down 2 pounds already!)

Water Intake: 2/3 of a gallon

Exercise: 13 songs on Dance Dance Revolution, Cha Cha Slide 2 times, then worked on abs, legs (raises and squats) and modified push ups.

  1. You go girl! Just keep looking at the positive choices, don't focus so much on the negative. Two pounds, woohoo!
