In The Beginning

I decided to start a blog since I've had so much going on in my head, lol.

This morning in my Bible reading, I was reading in John 1, specifically verses 1-4 and 10. I was researching the original language, looked at different translations and it just astounds me that there are people that do not believe. In what, you may ask me. In creation, in God, in the Bible, in who Jesus truly is.....or maybe they believe in God but do not truly understand His character and who He truly is. The verses I was looking at say "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning. All things were created by Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. In Him was life and the light was the life of mankind...He was in the world and the world was created by Him but the world did not recognize Him." The very world that He created, that He loves so much, does not even recognize Him! How His heart must break!! My pastor has been doing a series on In the Beginning this year and he has made some good points.

The Evolution Theory vs Creation.....if humans turned human from ape or monkey, why aren't apes and monkeys turning into humans? Or why do monkeys and apes even still exist? Also, scientifically, when dna begins to mutate, it almost always dies. Never is it a more intelligent, more superior being.

The Big Bang Theory vs Creation....what is the Big Bang? An explosion. Every explosion you have ever known....what happens? Chaos, destruction...NOT beauty and order!! It seriously takes more faith to believe in these theories than it does in a supreme being creating our universe.

And these are just 2 theories that are out there . There are other 'faiths' that believe different things and even people who claim Christianity who believe that Jesus is not the only way to Heaven and Jesus clearly says He is the way, the truth and the life and that NO one comes to the Father but BY HIM.

There are also those that state that Jesus was a created being. I could do a blog on this topic alone (maybe I will soon, lol), but these verses that I was in this morning clearly state that ALL things were created by Him (did He create Himself? I think not).

The enemy of our souls is out in full force, doing everything he can to deceive and destroy. He hates God and he hates humankind and the reason he hates humankind is because we are made in God's image. If you don't truly know Jesus as your Savior, if you don't have an intimate relationship with Him, don't allow yourself to be deceived any longer. Turn your life over to Him. You won't regret it!!!
